Barque | workroom preview August 2010

We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand new line that will be showing at workroom next week! Barque, designed by Parsons grad Gilbert Chen, will be launching with its S/S 2011 collection. The line is focused on affordable modern classics with interesting and unpretentious details. Barque epitomizes the ideal modern man’s wardrobe, which is rooted in traditional sensibility, exemplar craftsmanship, and subtle detailing. Can’t wait to check them out in Vegas!! You can find them on the show floor with the rest of Idiel Showroom’s lineup including Gear3 by Saen, D. Gnak by Kang. D, EZ ENZUVAN, and gene par Yukio Mishiba.

Shakuhachi | workroom preview August 2010

Gasp! Sigh! Swoon! We cannot get over how ridiculously awesome, Australian based, Shakuhachi is! Designer Jessie White holds the key to our sartorial heart. The show is quickly approaching and it's time for another sneak preview!! Hillary Taymour, designer of Los Angles based handbag and leather accessory line Collina Strada, was kind enough to send over some images of her collection. We love the sugar and spice in Collina Strada, striking the perfect balance between femininity and ruggedness. Olasul | workroom August 2010

Olasul is the creation of Lorenz Korder Fort, who has set out to create a surfwear brand with, as he describes, a story. The recently launched collection was inspired by the beautiful Peruvian coastline and its unique surf culture. Pictured, is their breathtaking S/S 2010 look book. We’ve never been to Peru, but if that’s what we’re missing we definitely need to make it a point to get out there. Not only is the line beautiful but it’s extremely well engineered, with a perfect modern fit, and the best quick drying fabrics. So happy summer is here!! Let’s hit the surf!
