We love Dana Lee and are so excited the line will be showing at workroom in August! But August is a ways away, and if you’re like us, you need a bit of Dana Lee if your life now. Thankfully, Opening Ceremony got dibs on the s/s 2010 wares, and they’re doing a fantastic job of styling and showcasing this awesome collection. Ombre chambray!! Dana Lee you rock.

Prest | workroom August 2010

Prest is an LA based men’s line, created in 2007 by designer and musician, Rye Whelan. Originally launched with single color pressed shirts, Prest has grown into a full ready to wear collection. We love Prest’s perfect restraint, no bells and whistles, just well made clothing with great fit, and quality fabrics. Prest gives us exactly what we want, but better than we imagined. Love Thy Neighbour | workroom August 2010

G'day! Happy Monday! Australia seems to be a hotbed of awesome contemporary fashion these days, and you can add Love Thy Neighbour to the mix. This burgeoning, Australian based line will be joining workroom in Las Vegas this August. We love their strong sleek footwear paired with their laid back tees and bottoms, creating that perfect beachy hipster look. Can’t wait to see these guys in August!

Song of the Day! "Something Good Can Work"

It's nice and warm outside. Plus, it's Friday, and we've found the perfect song to kick off our weekend. Irish trio, Two Door Cinema Club was formed in 2007, and dropped their debut album, Tourist History, on March 1st, 2010 with French record label Kitsune. Above is the video for their single, "Something Good Can Work," shot in the Canary Islands. These cute dorky Irish boys can definitely get down and have a good time. We hope they layered on the SPF. Check em out! Alex Trimble lead vocals, guitar, synths, beats; Kevin Baird bass, vocals; Sam Halliday guitar, vocals. No drummer! They use their mac for a rhythm section. Gotta love it.

Them Atelier | workroom August 2010

LA based denim line, Them Atelier, will be showcasing their wares at workroom's upcoming show. We couldn't be more on board with Them Atelier's mission, to bring back clean and sleek affordable denim. 80 bucks for a pair of awesome jeans is definitely something to get excited about! Pictured, is their A/W 2010 collection. Look for their denim at noteworthy retailers including American Rag and Church in Los Angeles, and Assembly in New York.

ZAK | workroom August 2010

Los Angeles based designer, Zachary Kaufman, is the driving force behind emerging menswear line ZAK, formerly known as COA. The line draws inspiration from Los Angeles, which is reflected in its clean streamlined look and street sensibility. ZAK has received great response from retailers for its edgy denim, directional outerwear, and amazing price point. We're so excited ZAK will be making it back out to Vegas for workroom's August show! Pictured is the F/W 2010 collection set to hit stores in July. Also look for ZAK's upcoming women's collection, set to launch for F/W 2011.

Surface to Air will be returning to workroom this August in Las Vegas!! S2A has come quite a long way since its original launch as a Paris based denim label. It now boasts a full men's and women’s collection, a highly sought after accessories line, and a shoe line that’s being coveted by fashion folk everywhere. FACTORY by Erik Hart | workroom August 2010

After a successful February show, FACTORY by Erik Hart will be joining workroom again in Vegas this August. Yeah! Pictured, and in stores now, is the s/s 2010 collection which pairs directional design with a sophisticated minimalist sensibility. Garbstore | workroom August 2010

UK based Garbstore is joining us in Vegas!! The London retailer will be bringing their highly sought after in-house label to workroom in August. Pictured above and below, and in stores now is their S/S 2010 collection, inspired by “the service industries that accompanied the colonial exploits of the British Empire.” The collection was photographed on Canadian folk band, The Mighty Low, and illustrated by artist, Ewen Brown. We’re so excited about our growing roster of brands and Garbstore is a welcome addition. Take a look at their site, shop the collection and more on their multi-brand webstore.

Hyden Yoo | workroom August 2010

Hyden Yoo left a corporate job to pursue a career as a fashion designer, and we’re sure glad as hell he did. Each season Hyden Yoo continues to grow. Originally launched as a men’s shirting line, Designer Hyden Yoo, is now helming a full men’s and full women’s collection, comprised of sophisticated classic clothing with edgy details (f/w 2010 pictured) . We’re big fans and so happy that he will be joining workroom at our August show in Vegas!!
